JAMMU, Apr 2: Irrespective of its tall claims of providing uninterrupted services of broadband, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has failed virtually in providing the services at all. Broadband is not working since 40 hours in the area falling under Talab Tillo Exchange. People coming to Exchange Office for billing purposes, for getting new connections and other enquiries have to face a lot of difficulties as officials were asking them to visit again.
Ramesh Kumar-a senior citizen, who had visited the Talab Tillo office for some work said that if this is the position of services in the heart of the city, one could think of the services being provided in the far-flung areas. He also said that concerned authorities are adopting indifferent attitude over the genuine demands of the common people. He said that they had approached the concerned authorities many times but all in vain.
