| Extension Lecture-Cum-Workshop organized at Dogra college | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 3: Dogra College of Education today organized a Extension Lecture-Cum-Workshop in the College premises today. Dr. Madhu Singh, Principal, Khalsa College of Education delivered a thought provoking lecture on the topic Behavioural objectives and steps for preparing behavioural objectives for different teaching subjects. Dr. Madhu Singh enlightened the students by throwing light on the basics of skill of writing Expected Behaviour Outcomes at the input level in RCEM Approach, basic teaching model of Lesson Plan, General Objectives and Specific Objectives in a very effective manner in the first session. In the second session Anu Kapoor, Alka Sharma and Gurdeep Kour, lecturers, Khalsa College of Education held a workshop on the preparation of Low cost teaching aids which can be easily used by the teacher trainees in the teaching of various school subjects. The practical demonstration of preparing various Low cost Teaching aids was also given to the pupil trainees, so that they themselves could prepare such type of teaching aids. Earlier Dr. Kiran Luthra, Principal, Dogra College of Education formally welcomed the learned speaker. She emphasized the importance of the days topic and added that such workshops are important for the professional development of the teacher trainees as well as the facility members. Samar Dev Singh Charak Secrectary, Dogra Educational Trust, Prof. B.D. Damral Director Dogra College of Education were also present on the occasion along with the facility members from J K College of Education, Atman College of Education, Gurunanak College of Education, New Gandhi -Memorial-College of Education and Khalsa College of Education. At the end, Vote of thanks was moved by the staff secretary Shefali Sharma.
