| Narwal Mandi double murder case, challan presented | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 3: Fruit Mandi Narwal double murder case police presented challan in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, which took place on February 5, 2010 against eight accused namely Ajit Singh alias Kaka, Milkha Singh, Ranjodh Singh alias Talo, Ajit Kumar alias Jeeta, Jatinder Singh alias Kala, Paramjeet Singh alias Pummy, Narinder Singh alias Pummy, Ajmer Singh alias Vicky, Manmeet Singh who was released from the police custody u/s 169 RPC. As per challan one Surinder Singh alias Kala son of Isher Singh has deposed before police that on February 5, 2010 at about 5:30 PM Gurnam Singh brother and Rajinder Singh Maternal uncle were standing near the shop 104 whereas Devinder Singh alias Bunty, Gurvinder Pal Singh were also present there, whereas the complainant was also standing there, a car No 3812-JK02V came there and hit Rajinder Singh intentionally whereas Ajit Singh alias Kala, Milkha Singh, Jatinder Singh alias Kala, Paramjeet Singh alias Pummy, Jeeta driver of Milkha Singh were in the car, came out from the car and started attacking with sharp edge weapons and Danda, at this stage complainant raised alarm, all the five accused after seriously injured both deceased ran away. Devinder Singh alias Bunty and Gurdyal Singh took the injured to GMC Jammu during that period Rajinder Singh told the complainant that during the noon on the loading of vehicles there was quarrel between the accused persons who threatened to kill the deceased whereas this conspiracy has been hatched on the behest of one Narinder Singh alias Pummy, when both injured reached GMC, the doctor declared Gurnam Singh brought dead whereas later on Rajinder Singh also succumbed to injuries. On the complaint police registered FIR u/s 302/147/148/149/120-B r/w section 201 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act where as against accused Ranjodh Singh & , Narinder Singh alias Pummy case u/s 302/120-B RPC was registered. On the disclosure of Jatinder Singh alias Kala and Paramjeet Singh alias Pummy the weapons used in the double murder case was recovered from the bushes. It was alleged in challan that there was old enmity between the accused the deceased persons over the loading of vehicles in the Fruit Mandi Narwal. Police after completion of investigation presented challan. ---JNF
