Bring 'Chenani' on tourist map: Khajuria

Udhampur, Apr 3: Yashpaul Khajuria, vice president Pradesh Congress committee has demanded for promotion of tourism in Chenani areas a important town of the district Udhampur.
Addressing Congress workers meeting he said, there is lot of potential for tourism in this part of the district, but due to lack of infrastructure, area is neglected. He also demanded improvement of Mal-road, construction of link road from Patnitop to Gourikund and construction of Gandola system from Kud to Patnitop.
Due to dry spell he said farmers of Chenani belt have suffered a great loss due to failure of their vegetable crops. He demanded a relief for the farmers besides adequate supply of fertilizers and seeds etc.
KLA Krishan Chand Bhagat also addressed the meeting. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting included Ashok Bakshi, Surinder, Vijay Kumar Padha, Mohan Lal Gupta, Vijay Lakshi, Jaswant Singh, Gopal Sharma, Vinod Muthur, Faquir Chand, Gain Chand Kewal Bhagat and Ashok.
