| Villagers protest against poor result | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SUNDERBANI, Apr 3: Residents of villages Devak, Hathal, Siya and Bandrai led by Sub (Retd) and a Congress leader Om Parkash held a big protest against the Principal and staff of Government Higher Secondary School Devak for poor result of the 9th class. Om Parkash said that out of 69 students who appeared in the examination 31 students have failed in the class which speaks of the standard of education being provided in the school.
The protesters demanded an immediate inquiry into the large number of failures to be conducted at the level of Director of Schools or that of Chief Education Officer.
The protesters also demanded that Principal and staff of the school should en-mass be transferred out of this school. |
