Neha Jamwal was chosen as miss-fresher while Diviyana Gupta and Wishanki won the titles miss-personality and miss-well-dressed-up at a ‘Freshers’ Party’ held by Department of Computer Sciences at Government College for Women, Parade, here today.
Earlier, principal of the College, Indira Rathore, declared open the function by lighting traditional lamp. On the occasion, the principal also honored two lecturers of the department Kapil Ghai and Namita Singh for distinguished services.
Addressing the students, the principal appreciated the initiative of the students and said that the healthy tradition of college must go on. She also commended the working of the department. HoD BCA, Prof. Praveen Singh was also present on the occasion.
