| Heat gets on, darbar heading towards Valley | | | CHAMAN KAUL Jammu, Apr 3: THE unusual high temperature this year has forced the darbar employees to start a move to Valley. In comparison to previous years, this year the mercury has gone all time high in March itself prompting the employees to go back to Valley. Not only employees but also the ministers have decided to move to valley earlier. In this connection, instead of being available in Jammu some ministers of Jammu have decided to attend civil secretariat Srinagar in the month of April. As per the notification, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Science and Technology will be available for people in winter secretariat, Srinagar from April 07 to April 09, to address grievances of general masses, Minister of State for Hajj, Auqaff and Fisheries, Aijaz Ahmad Khan will be available from April 12 to April 16, and Minister of State for Cooperative and Printing Press, Manohar Lal Sharma will meet the public from April 19 to April 23, besides, Minister of State for Forests, Environment and Transport, Shabir Ahmad Khan will be available in winter secretariat from April 26 to April 30. It is not that ministers have finished their outstanding work in Jammu or they are seriously concerned about the miseries being faced by the people in Valley but the fact is that the unusual high temperature have compelled them to prepone their move by one month. "If ministers are going to sit in Srinagar secretariat, why not the employees then ,'' asked an employee. He said that soon after the session concludes there would be nominal number of employees in secretariat as most of the employees will go on leave, he asserted. "It is the people of Jammu, who are being befooled for the years together and this year is no exception," Aditiya Gupta a financial expert said. "it will continue and will increase with the times to come, so people of Jammu must think over it and take the decision once for all." he suggested.
