Udhampur , March 3: Priotization of the components and submission of details for Infrastructure Development of Udhampur town under Jammu and Kashmir Urban Sector Development Investment Programme (JKUSIDP) were discussed at a meeting of officers of various departments chaired by the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. Baseer Ahmed Khan, here today. ,.
During the meeting threadbare discussions were held on Devika development, construction of new bus stand, sewerage and drainage, construction of basement parking facility and extension of Dabber park, solid waste management, public toilets, development of Transport Yard and Ware House etc.
The District Development Commissioner exhorted upon the officers concerned to prioritize and formulate project reports pertaining to their respective departments in close coordination with other departments. He asked them to submit project reports latest by April 10, so that re-prioritization be made at district level for onward submission to J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency and DHV Consultancy.
The DDC also asked the Tehsildar (Territorial), Udhampur to visit identified site for construction of new bus stand at Udhampur and prepare revenue papers within a weeks time so that engineering wing concerned could prepare a detailed plan of the proposed bus stand.
