| Shia federation elect body | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: Shia federation of the province today held its election and elected Ashiq Hussain Khan as president of the federation, while Sheikh Ashiq Hussian president of the federation, while Sheikh Ashiq Hussain is the chief patron.
The other members of federation one Sheikh Sajjad Hussain as senior vice president, Syed Aslam Shah and Syed Asfaq Kazmi as vice president, while Dr. Iftikar Hussain Shah was appointed at general secretary. The election process was held under the chairmanship of Moulana Syed Mukhtar Hussain Jafary.
A large number of delegates of Shia federation belonging to Shia community from all the district/ tehsil units of Jammu province participated in the election process. District and tehsil committees and other office bearers shall be nominated with the consent of the members and intelligentsia of the community, the release added.
