| JWAM holds protest rally against cancellation of PRD bill | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 4: The busy Amphalla-Janipura road witnessed a massive demonstration organized by the workers of Jammu west assembly Movement (JWAM) against the introduction of a bill in state assembly to cancel permanent resident rights of domicile women's marriage outside J&K state. Addressing the protesters, JWAM president Sunil Dimple said that the introduction of PRD bill has created a volatile situation in Jammu region and has once again brought J&K state once again brought J&K state once again on the verge of bifurcation of the state. He warned the government not to play with the sentiments of Jammu people of the bill is not immediately withdrawn. Dimple said, if bill is not withdrawn JWAM will be forced to launch a agitation, beside indefinite Jammu bandh. He said the matter is brought into the notice of CM Omar Abdullah, through revenue minister Raman Bhalla, who he said have also assured that the matter will be brought into the notice of prime minister and Sonia Gandhi protestors also burnt copies of recommendations of Justice Sageer Ahmed report. He said Jammu and Kashmir will remain integral part of the country. Among the prominent protestors were Dr. Shyam Saroop Gupta, Manjit Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Mohan Lal Sharma, Rajinder Verma, Kukoo Khajuria, Papu Kumar, Kulbir Singh Deveinder Singh and Raj Kumar.
