EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 13 The secondary of 43rd All India Orient Conference (AIOC) was fully dominated with the academic activities here today. In today conference scholars presented papers on various subjects. The proceedings were conducted in various sessions, in which wide range of discussions were head. According to University of Jammu handout were the conference is held, papers on Manuscriptology Islamic studies, Sanskrit Studies, Indian Aesthetic, and Poetics, Kashmir Saivism, Indian Laiquistics, Buddhist Studies, Pali Language, Prakrit, Jainism were read out by the scholars. During the conference debate on ‘Ramayan and Mahabharat’ was held which was attended by well known scholars. On Kashmir Shivism Prof Koshalya Wali said, “that Kashmir Shivism has a significant place in history of Indian philosophy. She said, Kashmir Shaism as such does not accept the universe as an outcome of Maya. She said, the universe to Kashmir ‘Saiva Scholar’, is manifestation of divine consciousness. Divinity is always existence we know it to do not know it. This is session was presided over by a well know scholar Prof. Ved Ghai. In Iranian session Prof. S.A Hansav of Jawaharlal Nehru University gave an account of devemopment in Iran about the classical Iranian literature with special reference to Shahnama of Firdousi and women in Iranian literature. Among the notable scholars who took part in the conference were Pandit Parisad, Prof V Kutumbh Sastry, Dr. Medha Kumari, P.L Shaji, hari Singh Shastri, B.D. Ramkrishana, P. Visalakshy, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma, Prof. Abdul Ali, Dr. S.S Nazmudinm, Dr. Rita Choudhary, Dr. Aziz, Abas, Prof. V.K Mishara, Prof. Vijay Thakur.
