| CRPF jawan critically injured | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Apr 4: A CRPF jawan was critically injured when his service rifle went off accidentally in the high security Tulsibagh area of the city today, police said. Rakesh Mehta of 25 battalion of the CRPF, on guard duty at the official quarter of PDP MLA Zahoor Ahmad Mir at Tulsibagh (T-12), was injured when his rifle went off accidentally while he was cleaning the weapon, the police said. He was rushed to hospital, where his condition was stated to be "out of danger". The legislator is away in Jammu in connection with the ongoing budget session of the state legislature.
