DIG rewards dedicated police officials

REASI, Apr 5: To take stock of problems being faced by the police personnel, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Udhampur-Reasi Range, Gulzar Singh Slathia accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police ,Reasi., Anand Jain held an open darbar at District Police Lines, Reasi, today.
A large number of officers and Jawans of District Police, Reasi attended the darbar.
During the darbar, the DIG impressed upon the police officials to update their professional skills and collection of relevant intelligence in order to deal effectively with the serious challenges of law and order and agile in foiling the attempt of the Anti National Elements. Slathia stressed upon them to serve with more dedication and missionary zeal so as to win the confidence of the common masses. He also issued necessary guidelines and instructions to the Police personnel in discharge of their duties.
Some police officials apprised the DIG about their problems and requirements for which DIG assured them that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned quarters for sympathetic and favourable consideration. Speaking on the occasion, the SSP Reasi welcoming the DIG for holding darbars at regular intervals for addressing the problems of officers and jawans assured that the Reasi police would whole heartedly combat the crime and effectively deal in law and order problems. He briefed the jawans to make all possible efforts in improving their quality of policing and prepare themselves for any eventuality.To encourage the officers and officials of Reasi Police, the DIG distributed the suitable rewards and certificates on spot for their commendable job in crime detection and maintenance of law and order.The Dy. SP ( HQs), Reasi, Mohd. Rashid extended vote of thanks on the occasion.
