| Justice will be done to OBC's: Soz | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 5: Express-ing deepest satisfaction, Prof. Saifuddin Soz- MP (Former Union Minister ) and President JKPCC, said that Congress party had succeeded to get the OBC Board instituted for welfare of lakhs of OBC's.
Prof. Soz was addressing an impressive and largely attended meeting of OBC's (Other Backward Classes) at Muthi-Jammu today.
He also assured thousands of the members of the OBC that their problems in respect of reservation in services, scholarships to their children raising of income slab for excluding creamy layer etc. will be sorted out and full justice will be done to OBC's. Soz further urged the gathering of OBC's to strengthen Congress party at all levels so that party of the common people serves them better.
He was accompanied by Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma-Senior Vice President JK PCC and former Deputy Chief Minister, former Minister Mula Ram, Bashir Ahmed Naz-Vice Chairman Gujjar & Bakerwal Board, Kuldeep Raj Verma-Vice Chairman OBC Board, Shiv Kumar Sharma-Chairman J&K INTUC and other senior leaders and Corporators.
Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma told the gathering that Congress party was aware of their problems and effective steps would be taken to solve them. He further said that after institution of the OBC Board, the OBC's have got empowered and now it was for the Vice Chairman of the Board Kuldeep Raj Verma to identify the OBC's difficulties and seek help of the government to solve them.
Those who also addressed the gathering included Mula Ram, Kuldeep Raj and others.
