| NPP leaders called on detained refugees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6: Several representatives of Panthers Party led by Bansi Lal Sharma and political advisor to JKNPP visited Bakshi Nagar police station and met several J&K territories under Pakistani occupied refugee leaders under detention in the police lock up for the past 28 hours. The other prominent Panthers Party leaders who met under detention include Daljit Singh Vice-President, Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary and others. Those detained for the past 28 hours are Capt. Yudhbir Singh, Capt. Rashpal Singh, Hari Singh, Hans Raj, Capt. Gian Chand, Sham Singh, Yashpaul Singh, Suram Singh, Chander Subash and Rashpal Chand. Bansi Lal Sharma accused J&K Government for detaining several injured refugee activists without any medical care or treatment. He said the injured refugees activists should have been admitted in the hospital and not kept in stinking furnace called police cells without fan or medical care. Sharma urged Prof. Bhim Singh Chairman JKNPP take their case in the Supreme Court for appropriate action against Chief Minister and DGP for assaulting the innocent representatives of J&K territories under Pakistan occupied refugees who were peacefully agitating to seek justice by comprehensive settlement.
