Jammu, Apr 6: Justice Sunil Hali of Jammu & Kashmir High Court in a petition filed by Dr. Lata who was allegedly involved in much publicized suicide case of Dr. Aparna daughter of DIG Kamal Saini, has stayed the proceedings of Trial Court against petitioner Dr. Lata. She filed a petition before the High Court seeking quashment of the proceedings pending in the Court of Principal Sessions Judge Jammu in a case titled State Vs Dr. Himanshu Sharma & Other. Justice Sunil after hearing Adv P N Raina appearing for the petitioner issued notice to the respondents returnable within three weeks, till next date of hearing, the proceedings before the Trial Court shall remain stayed and the warrants issued against Dr. Lata shall not be executed. ---JNF |
