| Harsh dubs coalition as 'zero performance government' | | | Early Times report Jammu, Apr 6: Lambasting the state government for its all-round failure and dubbing the ruling coalition as a 'Zero performance government' besides being anti-employees, anti-unemployed youth, anti-farmers and anti-Jammu, Leader of JKNPP Harsh Dev Singh alleged that credibility of Coalition Govt at lowest ebb . Talking to media persons here today, Harshdev said that 'The government has utterly failed to deliver both inside as well as outside the Assembly with its credibility being at the lowest ebb', he added. He castigated the government for invoking ESMA against state government employees who have been demanding the implementation of assurances given to them by the government and asked the Govt to negotiate with the employees rather than evoking ESMA against them. On Inter-district recruitment bill, he expressed dismay over the role of Congress and BJP in the Assembly on the issue of inter district transfer bill. He said that the amendment moved by JKNPP MLA Harsh dev Singh which ensured eight percent reservation to the scheduled caste in every district of the state as well as at divisional level was the only viable acceptable solution but regretted that the said parties failed to appreciate and failed to support the cause of SC community as appropriately addressed and espoused in the said Amendment. Singh strongly pleaded for equitable treatment to all regions of the state and strongly condemned the highly biased, discriminatory and pernicious designs of the government towards Jammu region. He said the Assembly figures have revealed certain startling facts of bias as was evident from total neglect and lakes and water bodies of Jammu region. Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA castigated the government its neglect of Dogra youth and its failure to honour its own commitment regarding issuance of Dogra Certificate. Yashpual Kundal MLA and Rafiq Shah MLC & State General Secretaries flayed the government for postponing the Municipal elections in the state, which revealed total bankruptcy of the government. The two leaders maintained that the government had not only lost popular support but also its moral authority to govern.
