| Increase scholarship for Ph.d scholars: Chib | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 6: Demanding increase in scholarship of Phd scholars, the JURSEA organised a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Rakesh Chib, President, here today. He said that there are various posts lying vacant in the university for the last so many years. He said that nothing has been done by theadministration to fill these vacant posts and this is giving rise to unemployment to the scholars. He also demanded that all Phd scholars should be given Rs 12,000 per month and also every MPhil scholars should be given 8000 per month as scholarship. Meanwhile, Chib also said that self attestation by the students to fill various forms should be entertained. He further said that the Vice Chancellor of the central university should be from Jammu and also all the appointments in the upcoming central university should be from the Jammu. Rakesh Chib said that if within weeks time the administration doest not fulfilled their demands,otherwise the JURSEA will launch the agitation against the Concerned authorities. Among others who were present in the meeting included Babita Thakur Vice President,Sunil Himachali Joint Sec., Javid Iqbal Treasurer,Anupa Sharma Organizing Sec.,Kuldeep Sharma General Sec.
