BMC condemns invoking of ESMA, express solidarity with employees

Jammu, Apr 8: Invoking of ESMA by the state government against its employees is very harsh step and no place in democratic step of government was said in meeting of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) workers here today. Addre-ssing the meeting Lakshman Ravinder Singh senior leader of BMC criticized the government for not redressing the demands of the employees which are releasing of 6th pay commission arrears, 20% HRA, enhancement of retirement age, removal of pay anomalies, conversion of Cola into DA of Public sector. All employees regularization Daily wagers, Adhoc, Temporary consolidated and contractual employees. The steering committee asked the government to avoid drastic and harsh steps against the employees but hold mutual talks immediately as the total work of government has been paralyzed and masses are facing problems.
BMC called upon the employees to remain united for their justified demands besides called upon all units in the state to support the employees for the cause in letter and spirit as the government is doing excess on the employees.
