| JKDF support employees strike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT NEW DELHI, Apr 9: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) today came in support of the striking government employees who are demanding the implementation of the sixth pay commission and condemned the decision of the State Government to invoke ESMO to crush the employees genuine movement. Addressing media persons, here today JKDF chief, Pandit Buchan Bazaz said that employees are part of the public and we support them. While quoting the recently presented State Budget, Bazaz said the government has enough money in the kitty and it should have used this money to meet the demands of the agitating employees. He asserted that their is revenue surplus to the tune of Rs. 5151/- crores and it has been reflected on page 3 and 6 of the State government said document. He termed the strike of the employees valid and the issues raised by them as well justified.
