| Girl gang raped in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 9: A 19-year old girl was allegedly gang raped in an under construction railway tunnel in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kas hmir, police said today.
The girl had taken a lift from a person who was known to her. The youth took her to an under construction railway tunnel in Rambhal, 50 kms from here last night, they said.
Some more boys were present there and the teenager was allegedly raped by them, they said. The girl managed to escape from the spot and hid herself in a nearby forest. She narrated the incident to the police this morning.
A case has been registered and some of the accused have been identified. The girl has been sent for a medical examination, they said.
