| Move employees to get salary on October 18 | | |
Srinagar, October 14 - The salaries for the month of October in respect of all the employees working in the Moving offices would be drawn on October 18th instead of October 23rd as was ordered earlier in view of festivals of Diwali and Id-ul-Fitr.
Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting convened by Commissioner Secretary, General Administrative Department Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Ganaie here yesterday to review the arrangements for the annual Darbar Move for 2006-2007.
The meeting attended by Commissioner Secretary, Finance and all heads of departments besides representatives of Police and Army discussed the security, transport, road conditions of the national Highway and other facilities for the employees. The Inspector General of Police Traffic was directed to ensure smooth movement of employees from Srinagar to Jammu with precedence for employees buses at Jawahar Tunnel.
The Deputy Commissioners of Doda and Udhampur have been asked to make necessary arrangements to ensure that food items in various hotels all along the National Highway on the day of movement of employees are in hygienic conditions and employees are not over charged. |
