JAMMU, Apr 9: Several people and political activist belong to various parties joined Awami National conference in presence of senior vice president of party Muzaffar Shah at Gandhi Nagar here today. Welco-ming in party fold, Shah hoped that with their zealous efforts and dedication they will bring party programme in front of general public and also get rid of the present turmoil prevailing in the state. He also urged them to be fair, faithful and honest towards party and people. He said, "we have to strengthen the hands of party head Begum Khalida Shah so as to provide a new political alternative to the people of J&K. in all 40 persons from Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri, R.S Pura, Kathua and Samba joined party. Prominent among them were Sant Ram, and Mohan Lal Pandita etc.
