| JKNPP organizes emergency meet | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Apr 9: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party hold an emergency meeting in Srinagar at its Head Office Rajbagh. The meeting was presided over by Farooq Ahmed Dar Provincial President, all District Presidents and Provincial office bearers participated. The situations arisen out of the strike of government employees were discussed. Serious concern is expressed on the part of the government for not acceding genuine demands of employees and instead draconian Act of ESMA was imposed on employees, which is totally unjustified unwarranted. Further it is urged upon the government to immediately release the leaders of striking employees. There is no government and the government has miserably and totally failed to discharge its obligations constitutionally. Therefore we urge upon Prime minister of India to personally intervene and resolve the conflict between employees and government for which the government of J&K is straightway responsible, as the common man is suffering daily due to the adamant approach of the government as the situation has worsen in this sensitive state. We assure the employees that we stand by them at this juncture and support their genuine strength.
