JAMMU, Apr 9: On the third of the ongoing 16th Annual Sports Meet of Dogra College of Education, In todays semi-finals of Kabaddi Matches for Boys Tawi House led by Capt. Himmat Singh beat Jhelum House by (35-24) points and Utterbehani House led by Capt. Prema Ram beat Chenab House (33-09) to reach the finals.
In athletics, in the short put match for boys, Pawan Kumar was adjudged first with the distance of 9.45 mtrs while Bhupinder Nath Chouhan and Ajit Kumar stood second and third with a distance of 8.50 mtrs and 8.35 mtrs respectively.
In discuss through competition Ram Dhan Kumawat stood first with the distance of 22.5 mtrs while Munish Kumar stood second with the distance of 21.45 mtrs and Shailesh Narain Mishra was placed at third position with the distance of 19.55 mtrs.
In Javelin throw competition Subash Chand Kharra bagged Gold Medal with the distance of 36.80 mtrs, Ashwani Kumar bagged silver medal with the distance of 34.60 mtrs while Kuldeep Kumar won the bronze with the distance of 32.30 mtrs.
