JAMMU, Apr 12: A meeting of J&K Saryara Sadar Sabha was held under the chairmanship of Ram Pal,president of the sabha today .
In the meeting the historical decision of the coalition government with regard to pass the inter-district recruitment bill and providing 8% reservations to the scheduled caste community in all the districts of the Jammu and Kashmir was hailed.
President of the Saryara Sadar Sabha also appreciated and thanked the chief minister Omar Abdullah to fulfill the legitimate demands of the scheduled caste category.
Various others issues pertaining to the overall development of the scheduled caste community were also discussed in the meeting.
