| Shun agitation, resume duties - Gul to employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 12: Stating that the Government has taken all necessary measures to ensure that people may not face any inconvenience in the back drop of employees strike, the Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul said that all essential services are functioning round the clock. Interacting with several deputations, here today, the Advisor said that it is very unfortunate that despite providing all benefits to the employees of the State, including 6th Pay Commission, the employees attempt to disrupt the work in the offices and create problems for the people of the State. Mubarak Gul said that Omar led Government is committed to provide all the benefits to the employees and is making strenuous efforts to arrange funds to pay their dues. He said it will take some time and employees have to bear with the Government. The Advisor appealed the employees to call off strike and work for making the state self sufficient in all respects. He said it should be the first priority of all the functionaries to mitigate people's sufferings. Gul said that Government has also taken concrete steps to make the Health Institutions operational round the clock. He called upon the medicos and Para medicos to work with missionary spirit and provide all Medicare facilities to the people. The deputations from Purkhoo, Satwari, Sidhra, Roopnagar, Paloura, besides Jewel Market Shopkeepers Association, called on the Advisor. The Advisor assured the deputationists that all their genuine demands would be projected at proper forums for early redressal.
