Malik reviews physical status of development works

REASI, Apr 12: Minister for Higher Education, Labour & Employment, Abdul Gani Malik convened an officers meeting at Reasi today to assess the pace of development works going on in the district,.
The District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Pandurang K. Pole, Senior Superintendent of Police, Anand Jain, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal, Divisional Forest Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Chief Education Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer and other concerned officers of various departments participated in the meeting. Malik reviewed physical status of various development activities going on in the Reasi district. The Chief Medical Officer was directed to deploy adequate staff at health sub centres of Bhaler, Manjikote, Sanglikote and Channa. He also directed the Chief Education Officer for rationalisation of staff in various schools to cover under staffed schools. Assistant Director, CAPD was directed to ensure adequate supply of ration to all left out families in tehsil Mahore and other parts of the district. The Assistant Commissioner Development apprised the Minister that an amount of Rs. 6.50 crores have been utilised in full on various development works up to ending March, 2010. Regarding appointments under SRO 43, Malik directed to consider all deserving cases on priority so that the dependents of the families may not suffer more. The Minister was apprised that receiving station at Bagga has been completed and is ready for commissioning. Malik also visited General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi and inspected examination centres.
Malik also met with various deputations who demanded laying of additional 600 pipes for improving at village Padder and Thanpal. The deputation's demanded drinking water supply to Patikhumba, Kainthi and Satradhaku area of Mahore tehsil, medical dispensaries at Thiloo, Kainthi and Bernali and staff for HSS Bhalar .The Minister assured that their demands would be addressed adequately to develop Thanpal area. The people demanded situated on the bank of river Chenab, as tourist spot. The people also demanded improvement of road from Dhian Garh power house to village Thanpal and implementation of NREGA works in their respective areas.
