| Wafa appointed state secretary PDP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 12: Balbir Singh, General Secretary Peoples Democratic Party appointed Hussain Ali Wafa as State Secretary of party on the directions of President Mehbooba Mufti at party headquarters wherein, senior leaders Tarlok Singh Bajwa, Vice President, A.K. Sawhney, Party Spokesman, Daman Bhasin, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh, Vijaya Dogra, Abdul Rashid Malik, K.K. Sharma and Chatter Singh Saini. Bajwa expressed satisfaction that with appointment of Wafa as State Secretary the Party will progress and reach to the rural areas. Thakur Balbir Singh, while welcoming the appointment of Wafa said that with his appointment the minority community will feel safe in the hands of the Party and the policies and programmes of the party will reach to the common man. While speaking on the occasion Wafa thanked the Party leadership particularly of Mufti Mohd. Sayed and Mehbooba Mufti for reposing faith on him. He said that he will try his utmost to come upto the expectations of the leaders and will work to carry forward the policies and programmes of Party to every nook and corner.
