JAMMU, Apr 13: The Government today put the Executive Engineer, Irrigation & Flood Control, Handwara under suspension with immediate effect.
The step was taken in view of the report received from Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara that the said Executive Engineer has remained absent unauthorisedly for some time. The Charge of Executive Engineer, shall be held by Xen, PHE, Handwara in addition to his own duties till further orders.
