| Sikhs celebrate Baisakhi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 14: Baisakhi, the birth day of Khalsa Panth was celebrated with great enthusiasm, religious fervor and gaiety throughout the Jammu region. To celebrate the day, Parbandhak Committee of Gurudwara Dera Sant Pura Danna, Nanak Nagar Jammu organised a function here today. Large Number of Sikh devotees and people from other faiths participated showing example of love and brotherhood. Besides, recitation of Shabad Kirtan, prominent Sikh religious preacher Sant Tejwant Singh from Dera Sant Pura Danna, Nanak Nagar, Jammu who also happens to be the patron-in-chief of Guru Gobind Study Circle, J&K and Chairman Sant Bhai Khushal Singh (Dera Danna Muzzerfabad) Welfare Society J&K highlighted the teaching Guru Sahibans and specialities of this day especially for Sikh Panth. Sant expressed that efforts are on to uplift and give boost to Panjabi language has slowly and slowly decreased its identity in the Country so it becomes very necessary for Sikh Sagat of J&K to leave no stone unturned in the progress of Punjabi language. On the occasion, the member of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Jammu and Sant Khushal Singh Welfare Society Dera Danna have arranged many Punjabi language competitions for the last two months of younger age group children of 4-7 years, 7-11 years and 11-15 years.
