| Togadia visiting Jammu tomorrow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 15: Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) International general secretary Parvin Togadia is scheduled to visit Jammu from April 17 to 19. Talking to media persons here today, Rama Kant Dubey, state VHP president said that the visit of Togadia is being seen significant as VHP's accountability towards securing the rights of the Hindus of the state would be discussed which would also include strategic debates on various aspects of safeguarding the diminishing number of the Hindus from the national panorama. "Togadia would attend different organizational functions of the Parishad while holding interactive sessions with various sections of the people to get apprised about the present state of affairs in the Jammu and Kashmir," Dubey informed. "The fast receding number of Hindus has become major concern and to secure the rights and sanctity of the community, an immediate introspection is needed for which VHP needs to mobilize its men and machinery at all India level," he said. He said that the main purpose of the visit of Togadia is to resurrect the feeling among the Hindus about their identity being held on stake for which an emergent solution is required. "For the purpose, VHP organizes "Dharma Raksha Nidhi- a yearly programme wherein a mass contact programme is held among the community for general awakening," said Rama Kant Dubey adding that mobilizing money to run the operational system would also be a major aspect of the function. Togadia is likely to visit, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnooor, Samba, Reasi and Katra in his three-day's stay while holding awareness progarmme in various districts.
