| HRW hails strike call off by employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 15: The chairman of Human Rights Watch (HRW) BL Kapoor has welcomed call of strike by the employees. Kapoor said that due to strike people suffered lot of problems in the state. As per press release, Kapoor has urged upon the chief minister Omar Abdullah on humantrian ground look into the problems of state employees and address the problems of the employees. He said J&K state has already been under the threat of terrorism for the last two decades and the people need a sign of relief and the strikes and agitations not only disrupt the peace and process but badly affect on normal life. Kapoor also said that the decision of government retirement with the option of 35years service or 60 years old which is earlier possible is a right decision. If it is implemented with this provision, the unemployed youth may be able to get the opportunity for having government jobs and the unemployment shall be declined.
