Addressing series of public meetings in Billawar assembly segment, PDP general secretary Balbir Singh said that except promises this regime has done nothing to ameliorate lot of the people. He said that state has plunged into unprecedented crises due to failure of the government to address problems of the common masses. He mentioned that on one hand people have been facing shortage of ration while on the other hand scarcity of water is another problem being confronted by the common masses. He regretted that instead of addressing woes of the common people this regime was more concerned about befooling the people. PDP leader pointed out that during the last 15 months this regime has done nothing for the upliftment of the common masses. "Only noticeable achievement of this coalition regime is pressurizing officers by indulging into wholesale transfers", he said. He pointed out that achievements of this government were confined only on papers and on ground nothing concrete has been done. "The government seems to be more concerned about issuing press statements and conducting photo sessions to hoodwink the common masses", he said, adding, "failure of the state government can be gauged from the fact that farmers, employees, technocrats, unemployed educated youth, students have been agitating in one way or other but the ruling elites seems to be unconcerned towards growing unrest among different sections of the society".
