| Court framed charges against then Deputy Custodian, Revenue officers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 16: Special Judge Anticorruption JR Kotwal framed corruption charges against Mohd Yousaf Gilikar then Deputy Custodian Poonch, Arvind Kumar Ghai then Naib Tehsildar Haveli Sanjeev Kumar Mohd Yousaf Khan private persons u/s 5(2) r/w 5(1) (c) PC Act 2006 and U/Ss 420/467/468/471 and 120-B RPC.
After hearing Purshtom Sharma with Senior Prosecuting Officer Parshant Mahajan, Special Judge Anticorruption JR Kotwal has gone through the record, in the record it has been mentioned that in the year 1991-92, the accused persons public servants hatched criminal conspiracy with private accused and fraudulently allotted 6 Kanal 7 Marlas Evacuee Land situated at village Kanuyian Tehsil Haveli Poonch in favour of one Jagdish Lal father of accused Sanjeev Kumar who was not in possession of the said land by passing a back dated order and consequent upon the said allotment Naib Tehsildar passed order in mutation u/s 3-A Agrarian Reforms Act and accused Sanjeev Kumar received compensation of Rs 43000 from the revenue authority against acquisition of four Kanals and 17 Marlas of land out of the above allotted land. Court while framing charges against above persons, issued non-bailable warrants of arrests against then Girdawar Circle-I Haveli Khazan Singh and then Patwari Kulwant Singh who were not present in the court at the time of framing charges.
