JAMMU, Apr 16:
A patwari, who retired from service only last month, was killed today when the car he was driving skidded off the road at Chakmalal near Khour, Akhnoor, and rammed into roadside trees.
He was identified as Ravi Singh Bhau of Chakmalal.
Police said soon after his car got entangled in the roadside trees, he was evacuated to the GMC Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites.Police had registered a case in this connection.
