Chargesheet filed against seven militants' harbourers

Jammu, Oct 14 The Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed a chargesheet against seven people, including a woman, in the court of Principal Sessions Judge for harbouring militants and for their alleged involvement in the hawala network at Navshera in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The challan was filed against Amjad Khan, master Tasaduq Hussain, Dr Nasir Ahmed, Zaffar Islam, Parvez Ahmed, Mohammad Hussain and Ruksar Begum, wife of a cop, yesterday.

According to sources, Rs 1.95 lakh cash of hawala money, two satellite telephones, one pistol, four grenades, among other things, were recovered from their possession on September 3.

They have been booked under section 3 (Enemy Agent Ordinances) 3/7/25/ (Indian Arms Act) and 120-b, 121, 121-a, 122 and 123 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
