| Abducted girl recovered, accused arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, Apr 17: A girl, who was Thursday abducted by a man and taken to Bakhal in Gurdaspur, Punjab, where he lived, was today recovered by police from his residence.The accused Kuldip Raj was alleged to have abducted a 17-year-old girl from Mendhar and taken her his home at Bakhal. After the girl's parents lodged a report with the Budhal police, cops raided Kuldip's residence at Bakhal and arrested him. The girl was also recovered from him, according to police sources. The duo was brought to Mendhar. Though the accused was kept in the lock up, the girl was restored to her parents after her medical examination in hospital. The police team, which recovered the girl and arrested the accused, was constituted by ASP Vivek Gupta. It was led by Mendhar police station SHO Farooq Shah.
