| Rajouri Imam alleges misuse of Waqf funds | | | Nasir Malikzada Early Times Rajouri, Apr 16: Launching an attack on the two Congress ministers, Imam Jamia Masjid Rajouri and Chairman of Alhuda Educational Trust Ameer Mohammad Shamsi has alleged that two ministers in the coalition government are diverting Waqf funds for their vested interests. Addressing Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid Madina Colony Rajouri, Ameer Mohammad Shamsi has alleged that two ministers viz Minister of State for Auqaf Ajaz Khan and Minister of State for Power Shabir Khan are involved in the diversion of Waqf funds. Shamsi said "Shabir Khan and Ajaz Khan are diverting Waqf funds to promote their own agenda", he alleged adding that he has various evidences of the diversion of funds in Auqaf department which have been "gifted" by the ministers to their blue eyed people." Threatening to launch campaign in all the Masjids of the state against these ministers, Shamsi said that if these ministers did not stop their activities, people will teach them lesson. Imam also expressed anguish over the increasing graph of non state subjects in Rajouri and Poonch and said that thousands of people from Bihar, UP and Andhra Pradesh are being settled in Rajouri adding "This is conspiracy against the people of Jammu & Kashmir that outsiders are being imported and getting them settled in this state".
