| Ishmeet Football: MBS College wins opening tie | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 18: The MBS College of Engineering won the opening match of the Second Voice of India, Ishmeet Singh Memorial Football Tournament beating City Club Parade 6-5 at Boys High School, Simbal Camp today. Earlier, in the stipulated time the match ended in a goalless draw. Later, in the tie-breaker, again the match could to be decided with scored remained tied at 5-5. However, in the sudden death, MBS College emerged winner 6-5. Harcharan Singh, Narinder Singh, Harmeet Singh and Charanjeet Singh were umpires in the inaugural match. The tournament, wherein 16 teams are taking part was declared open by the resident secretary of JKFA Jammu wing, Surinder Singh Bunty in a well attended function. The event is being organised by United Sikh Council under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA). Ajmeet Singh and G S Michal are the organizers of the tournament.
