| JWAM to organize 'Jan Andolan' from May 5 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 18: In view of failure of natural conference and congress coalition government in the state the Jammu west assembly movement (JWAM) has decided to organize 'Jan Andolan' from May 5, 2010. Addressing the media persons here today JWAM president Sunil Dimple said that Umar Abdullah led coalition government had failed on all fronts and the promises made with People of Jammu region during elections have not been fulfilled. He said discrimination with Jammu region is still going on and no major development project has been started here. The assurance given by the leaders of congress and national conference to the people are no where seen. He said there are no adequate medical facilities, no work on sanctioned fly-overs lake on river Tawi and appointing of local as vice-chancellor of central university etc are no were seen, and shows have Jammu region is being neglected.Dimple further said that the Jammu west assembly constituency has no development and people of the area are deprived of the basic amenities. He said, government hospital and 'Sarwal' lack facilities, which include shortage of specialists and blood bank. He said health minister visit hospitals off and on, but fails to provide facilities and added they do only for publicity and photo coverage. He said JWAM has decided to starts Jan Andolan and get things done.
