| Sports week at Jan College concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 18: Sports week of Jan College of Education, Kot Bhalwal concludes. Events were held in different disciplines to mark the occasion .In musical chair Janki secured first position and in lemon race Mehmooda. Kho Kho event finished in a tie between team A and B .Matches in the disciplines of Carom ,volley ball ,cricket and Kabadi were also held .Final in Cricket match was played between team A and C and A won under the captaincy of Beerbal, where as volley ball won by team A whose captain was Ab Ganai .
Managing Director Romana Jan lauded the efforts of organizers in the valedictory function. Principal, Prof Savita Raina presided over the sports meet. Earlier organizers of sports week was declared open by MD Romana Jan on April 16 .Prof Salaria ,Prof Anju ,Prof Shraishta ,Prof Mir ,Prof Babeta ,Prof Esha ,Prof Semi and others also participated in the valedictory and appreciated the college students for active participation in sports meet. Certificates of merits, medals and mementos were distributed among participants. A cultural programme was held also held.
