| Soz calls on Sonia | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 18: The president Pradesh Congress committee and MP Prof Saif-ud-Din called on UPA, chairperson Sonia Gandhi at New Delhi yesterday and discussed political situation of the J&K state with her.
As per press release Soz also apprise her about the recent strike by the state government employees and urged upon her that the arrears of the employees needs to be considered sympathetically as the employees have called off the strike.
Soz in, particular, apprised her about the programmes chalked out in Kashmir and Jammu in connection with Congress party's foundation day (125th year) celebrations for the entire year 2010 and how party workers have been participating in these programmes enthusiastically. He also apprised her about the latest position in respect of membership drive throughout the state.
