| DG XI enters semis of Martyrs Memorial T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 19: Director General XI today sailed into the semi-finals of the ongoing Ist Martyrs' Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament beating Director Health Services (DHS) XI by 20 runs in the quarterfinals played today at Parade ground, here. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, DG XI set a target of 171 runs for the loss of six wickets, which, in reply, DHS could not chase and completed the 20 overs for 142 runs losing six wickets. For his match winning knock of 60 runs, Rajesh Gill was declared man of the match. In another match of the day, Chief Minister (CM) XI registered a four wickets win over CRPF XI. Batting first, CRPF XI made 123 runs for the loss of nine wickets with Surinder being the top scorer making 32 runs. From CM XI, Aga Sayeed Ruhwalla took three wickets and Showkat bagged two. In reply, CM XI chased the total in 16.5 overs making 126 runs with four wickets in hand. Gourav and Sourav contributed 32 and 31 runs respectively. Showkat was declared man of the match.
