A women pick-pocket was arrested by police after she picked up purse of a bus passenger.
According to reports bus passenger Tara Chand S/o Munshi Ram of Ward no.6 Kathua was going to Pathankote in a bus, which was over crowded. At Basholi Morh a women passenger came down from the bus and the bus proceed towards Madhopur (Punjab). At Madhopur Tara Chand found his purse missing and return back to Lakhanpur (Jammu) and informed the police about the lady who came down midway.
Police immediately swung into action and arrest the women and recovered Rs.5000 from her. During interrogation she said, rest of the stolen amount she has spent. The women has been identified as Basha Devi W/o Angrez Ssingh r/o Lakhanpur.
