| Surrendered ultra’s wife creates scene | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 19: Three days after she highlighted hereself in a dramatic way inside the Civil Secretariat premises, Shabnam, wife of a surrendered militant Ghulam Mohi-udin tried to create scene in front of the office of Relief Commissioner at Canal Road here today. The woman threatened to immolate herslef if her demands were not concededby the government.
She came to Relief Commissioner's office, a place which she has been frequenting earlier also many times to register her case with the concerned authorities.She came in the afternoon and soon managed to gather some crowd by echoeing her woes to draw the attention of the concerned authorities. The husband of the woman also raised loud slogans while protesting in support of their demand of registration as migrant and other benefits.
Along with her husband and children, she theratened to immolate herself but an already alert police removed her from the place where she had squatted and took away to Police station. It may be mentioned that the said woman jumped in front of the cavalcade of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah three days back to draw his attention in the civil secretariat following which she was given an assurance that her case would be looked into.Though no word has yet come from the veracity of their case, the family apparently, with the motive of remaining in news created scene today.
