Amateur Club among 6 teams enter next round | JKPL T20 Cricket Tournament | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 20: Amateur Cricket Club among six teams today won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at different venues, here. The major upset of the day was loss of Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy in the hands of little known Khalsa Cricket Club by four wickets. Earlier, Amateur Cricket Club (ACC) registered seven wickets win over University of Jammu (JU). Batting first, JU set a target of 110 runs for the loss of eight wickets, which, in reply, ACC chased making 114 runs for the loss of three wickets in 14.5 overs. Digvijay, Lucky and Varun Eshwar were main scorers with 17, 14, 13 runs respectively. From JU, Parul and Nipul took one wicket each. Batting second, JU overhauled the ACC total making 114 runs losing three wickets in 14.5 overs. Balbir and Munish were main scorers with 43 and 40 runs respectively. From ACC, Sukhvinder, Digvijay and Anil shared apiece each. Other Results: Red Rose Cricket Club Arnia bt Kashyap by 18 runs; Khalsa Cricket Club bt Mayank Goswami Cricket Club by 4 wickets; Diamond Cricket.
