| Gandhis 'Shepherd girl' selected for display at Delhi | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 20: The 'Shepherd girl' an excellent painting work of renowed artist of the J&K state KK Gandhi has been selected for its display at hotel Lalit, New Delhi in the month of May at a mega show sponsored jointly by Nitanjali art gallery and Savera association. The main focus of the mega event is on primary health care, education and female emancipation, promoting food nutrition and lifting of the basic standards of living and welfare of the girl child. The exhibition will commence from May 8th to 14th. The funds received thereby way of sale of paintings etc shall be divided in two equal parts, fifty percent of which shall go to Savera (NGO) for meeting the commitments for standards of living and welfare of the girl child and 50% will go to the artist. Eminent artists from all over the country will be participating in the show. Gandhi son of soil has also been invited as one of the special guests, whose paintings are adjudged of high credibility and importance.
