| Young Turks felicitated on Grand Scouts Day | | | Early times report Jammu, Apr 20: The Grand Scouts Day celebrated today at Trikuta College was one of the major events held in Jammu that saw ministries and various luminaries present on the occasion. Minister for Medical Education, Youth services and Sports Prof. R.S Chib was the Chief Guest while Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Mr. Raman Bhalla was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Though the present dignitaries spoke in lengths and breadths about channelizing the energies of youth in the right direction for shaping the future of the country, the entire management conducted by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Reaseach was a yeoman's task undertaken by the Institute which was in it a great work done. The Ministers lauded the role of All India Boys Scouts and state Chapter of J&K Scouts and Guides, saying that this Scouts Organisation has a bright history as personalities like Annie Beseant started this scouting. On the occasion, local groups and organizations making their mark in furthering the legendary works were also also honoured. Raveesh Mengi, president Lakshay- The aim, an NGO working towards the betterment of the society in manifold ways and Mr Abhishek Magotra , vice president of the same were singled out on the occasion for felicitation for carrying out the works of human interests. Chairperson, Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi, Kumari Radha Bhat who had specially flown in from Delhi was also honoured on the occasion Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman Sain Charitable Trust presented vote of thanks.
