2 J&K lads selected for UTV Bindass's reality show D3.Commando Force

JAMMU, Apr 21 : Two boys from this mountainous terrain of Jammu and Kashmir were selected for a reality show D3 'Commando Force' to be on aired on UTV Bindass from May 8.
''This is for the first time ever, a private company is taking on an initiative to build commando force and with an overwhelming response of over 6,000 people for the auditions in metro cities, 14 youth have been selected,'' Nikhil Gandhi, Business Head UTV Bindass told reporters at a press conference here this afternoon. ''Out of total contestants with seven boys and seven girls, two boys from the state of Jammu and Kashmir will also be participating in the show,''Gandhi added. He said Wasim Ali Mughal from Bhaderwah town of Doda district and Anikiat Trakroo of Srinagar, would be the contestants from Jammu and Kashmir.
Wasim Ali Mughal, a contestant from Doda in Jammu said, "The terrorist attacks on J&K have always pained me seeing what my state has gone through. The haunting memories of my childhood are waiting to be channeled in an organized fashion and that is what has brought me to this show'.
Anikiat Trakroo, a contestant from Srinagar said 'Constant attacks have disrupted the peace and existence of the very beautiful state of J&K.
To find solace, I escaped to another city and won't able to gather the courage to go back. I want to get back with courageous and conviction to get over my guilt'. Shalini Sethi, Programme Head, UTV Bindass said D3 Comando Force 'Dadagiri against Terrorism' is an idea to make youths of the country skilled in fighting the menace.''We want that via D3 medium, the youth of the country should be trained and taught about various techniques to fight terrorism,'' Shalini said and added that the training would be similar to what a cadet go through in the defence forces. ''The show will be on air from May 8 on UTV bindass at 1900 hrs while the tasks on the show will entail survival treks, ambush, water landing, night navigations and much more,'' she added. Capt Kshitij Sharma, training officer on D3 said, 'Terrorism is now become a reality of the world, with this unique initiative we make the youth to experience the commando life and be prepared to combat terrorism'. "This dadagiri is against terrorism and 26/11 is the latest example, where each and every Indian thought what if we would have been there, so will be training them for tackling such situations", he added
